Our Story

Finding joy

The COVID pandemic forced a lot of introspection about our lifestyle. We re-evaluated our priorities and decided it was time to make a change. We've embarked on a new journey and are working towards doing more of what brings us joy.

Brandon became fascinated with llamas after meeting them as a teenager, and he set a goal to have llamas one day. Naturally, after meeting alpacas, he knew he had to have them in his life, too. 

​

While Jennifer also loves cute animals, she was not easy to convince that they needed a farm. That all changed in 2020 when they got backyard chickens. The chickens were so much fun that she finally agreed having more farm animals might be in the future. She loves designing systems and caring for the chickens scratched an itch she didn't know existed.
